Prime Minister for a Day
People go into politicsÂ
Because they want to change the world
People talk so much politics
Because they want to change to world
But few of us ever get the chance.
No matter what we say
We won’t be the one who makes the rules
But what if you were Prime Minister for a day?
What laws would you make?
Or better repeal?
What rules and what regulations?
What snakes muckrake?
What dreams make real?
What changes to the nation?
Imagine the things that you would do,
Imagine the things you would say,
To make the world a better place,
If you were PM for a day.
You’d do something bold, if given the chance.
You know at least you’d do that.
So I’d like to know, cos you had the chance,
Just what did you do, Rishi Sunak?
