Well, Spoons’ve just put out their financial results - and they’re “robust”, according to those in the know - so, as it’s (sort of) topical, here’s another from Crazy Coqs the other night. I hope it puts a smile on your face this Friday afternoon.
If you want to come to one of these nights at Crazy Coqs - and they are the absolute best - the next one in November is sold out, but we have added another, January 22, so book early to avoid disappointment and all of that.
Shows coming up
There are still a few tickets for the “my lecture with funny bits” Shaping the Earth this coming Thursday October 10th at the Museum of Comedy. This is the show I did at the Edinburgh Fringe this year, and it went down really well. Recommended.
Then on October 17th we have The Experiment: a new material night we are starting at a lovely venue, the Tea House Theatre, in Vauxhall.
Chad and I will be trying some new songs; and we will have a couple of special, (semi) famous guests. The mighty Leo Kearse is already booked for the first one. There will be another, TBC.
It should be a very pleasant evening. There’s the option of a three-course dinner beforehand too. You can get tickets here.
Then there is the big one this December.
The End of the Year Show
This is selling way faster than anticipated - we are over 60% sold already - so, even though it’s a long way away, book your tickets now.
Monday December 16th at the Backyard in Bethnal Green. Will be a night to remember.
Lots of exciting stuff going on behind the scenes. I’ll keep you posted.
Until next time,
I thank you.
Dominic
