Thank goodness for Roy Larner - what a man, such bravery. But also thanks to Dominic Frisby for bringing all this to peoples' attention and with such style. How awful 'he got no medal'. What a country. But Dominic made sure people were aware of Roy Larner and his heroic actions. Don't those in government etc., realise/appreciate that Roy saved lives and created time for a response by the emergency services.
That was excellent👍 my idea I think, I knew Roy would get a standing ovation.
Its great what you did there Dom, you not only wrote a great song to celebrate his bravery but also you allowed him to take part and see the appreciation the rest of us have for him.
Its your basic opportunity cost. How many more lives did he save whilst those lunatics were having to deal with him?
Brave man, he squared up at great risk to himself up allowing others to get to safety.
I don't know how big a venue you would want but the Alex Centre in Faversham is a possibility - Faversham actually has quite a few smallish venues. There's the Hazlitt Theatre in Maidstone which isn't huge but is still biggish. There are venues in Sittingbourne that have live music.
Great song but I can't help feeling that another verse with "not like Kier Starmer" could have fitted in somewhere. Thank you for your generous amount of entertainment, Paul
Bloody hell … I’m not a particularly emotional bloke (didn’t remotely shed a tear when my mum died a couple of years back) but the crowd reaction and standing ovation for Roy had me blubbing! Great to see this recognition and respect for him. Must have been a fabulous moment for the humble lion. Thank you for sharing. Hope you really felt it too!
(ps respectfully suggest not adding another verse to rhyme with Starmer — who will be forgotten in 4 years — may be better to keep it all about the long-term legend Roy ).
Thank you once again Dominic
The song was brilliant
Thanks Roy!
Legend.

That guy is awesome👍
Indeed!
As you say, he was buying time for everyone else.
Thats made my day! A like from the man himself! Cheers Roy!
Drinks on me all night when we meet up👍
You are the man👍
That’s lovely well done
thank you!
You’re crushing it. Thank YOU for brightening a grim world!
Bless Roy, Bless you.
Brilliant Dominic.
Dominic, have you thought about coming to the Medway towns, Maidstone or Faversham? I think you might find some kindred spirits down in Kent!
(And what a hero Roy is)
Yes, I've always thought that. Do you know any venues?

I was thinking the very same thing Paul :D
There's definitely a rhyme there to be had!
