Morning all,
First up, but furthest off, I am back at Crazy Coqs in the heart of London’s West End - specifically at Brasserie Zedel by Piccadilly Circus - with the Gilet Jaunes on Wednesday, September 27.
These shows are really good - the venue is great, the act is obviously brilliant, the sound is ace - and they sell out, so book early to avoid disappointment etc. Show starts at 7pm - straight after work job - and we are done by 8.30. I can’t stress enough: these are really fun nights. You can get tickets here.
On Saturday July 29, I shall be in Brighton, at the Open Air Theatre, appearing alongside my former-Headliners co-host, Simon Evans, nominally doing an Edinburgh preview, but actually doing 45 minutes of top notch musical comedy. I am not yet listed, but you can get tickets for that one here. There are two shows: one in the afternoon at 1pm, another in the evening at 7pm. The maestro Chad Lelong will be accompanying on piano. Tickets here (as I say I’m not yet listed, but, fear not, I am under the Simon Evans: Potted Preview banner).
And, finally, from August 4th to 20th I shall be at the Edinburgh Fringe, at Panmure House, in the room in which Adam Smith wrote Wealth of Nations, doing one of my lectures with occasional funny bits: this one is about Gold: its history, its fascination, its future. You can get tickets here.
Hopefully, see you at one of these fine events, all great in their own different way. Like body parts.
In other news, there are some new videos coming soon. Watch this space.
Until next time,
Dominic
