Now on Spotify
Good August morning to you, And we write with regard to Kisses on a Postcard, the musical that I won't stop banging on about and that you haven't listened to (yet). I'd pleased to report that the soundtrack - ie the music, not the drama - is now available on Spotify, Apple Music and other such places. Go listen.
More excitingly, the full, 4-hour version drama and all is now freely available as a podcast via Android, Apple podcasts, Spotify and so on, as well as at Bandcamp. It's best listened to in half hour chunks, like an audiobook or a long podcast - when in the car, in the kitchen, walking the dog and so on. There is nothing stopping you now. Listen. Trust me. It's worth it.
Third, we now have CDs of the show. These are limited first edition jobs, which include one key name spelt wrong, so they may go on to have some value, if Kisses ever becomes anything.
You can order CDs here at the website.
Feedback has been really good, but, as you've probably gathered by the tone of this, trying to get people listen is somewhere between pulling teeth and wading through treacle. Eventually, it will take on a life of its own. But for now I need to get as many "influencers" as possible excited about it. If you have a friend or relative, a parent, uncle, aunt, grand-parent, who was around during WWII, and especially if they were evacuated (there aren't many of that generation left), please buy them one of these CDs. They will thank you. Finally, we got a very nice review from something North West End. I have no idea what North West End is, but they were very nice about us so as far as I'm concerned it's Time Magazine.
If you haven't already listened yourself, then get a CD, head over to Bandcamp or open up your podcasts app and type in those magic words, "Kisses on a Postcard".
Thanks so much See you next week in Edinburgh hopefully. Best
Dominic
