People seem to be losing sight of the bigger picture and there are too many egos involved. What matters most ? That Andy Burnham loses or that their preferred candidate wins above all else? If it's the former, one of either Nigel or Rupert will have to stand down for this specific election and try to persuade their supporters to hold their noses for the greater good.
I suspect it will be a similar choice at the next GE. Otherwise, Britain will be finished.

It would take Restore another ten years or so to reach the level of support and organisation that Reform already has — and that’s assuming Reform folded tomorrow. As that clearly isn’t going to happen, I can’t see Restore ever taking a significant lead.
And if Kemi had been Tory leader ten years ago, I doubt either of the aforementioned would have been in the fold. She’s an impressive leader.
For people of my demographic, the question is: would you rather have a convivial pint with Nigel, get into the nitty-gritty of politics with Rupert, or be disciplined by Kemi?
