The CDs for my new album have arrived and they go on sale today.
Because of inflation, there are actually two albums - well an LP and an EP.
First up, there is Gammon and Proud, which I think is probably my album best yet. Here’s the front cover.
Tracks include the title song, FOMO, Unacceptable Views, Please Don’t Cancel Me and the soon-to-be-released Show Me The Way To Ancapistan.
In a bid to be more commercial, there is no swearing on the album, except for one Ofcom-rated “mild” word.
The EP, however, goes in a different direction, and contains all my sweary songs, including The Ofcom Song - 186 Words Not To Use, Bowel Movement In A Minor, A Prayer For My Son and The Bland Song. Hence the title. Here’s the cover of that one.
Gammon and Proud is in the course of being uploaded to the interweb to be available on Spotify, Apple Music and other such places. You can order CDs here.
But Contains Swearing, due to its unbroadcastability, will only be available as a CD,
Either will make excellent stocking fillers or Christmas presents for errant uncles.
Both were supposed to have arrived in time for the gigs at Crazy Coqs (both sold out amazing nights - thank you to all those who came), but, because of Brexit, delivery from Macclesfield was late.
But they are both, along with all my previous efforts, available in the shop.
Here are the back covers.
In posting these, I realise there is a mistake on the back of Contains Swearing - it’s actually tracks 1 and 3 that have keyboards played by the wonderful Chad Lelong. That error thus turns this first edition into a collectors’ item.
Music is composed and played by the redoubtable Noah Fleetwood, except for one track by Goat, and recorded and mixed by Wayne McIntyre. Covers were designed by John Griffiths with photos by Goat, Will Thomas Freeman and Steve Best.
I hope you enjoy them.
Until next time …
