Dates Coming Up
Morning All
This is just to let you know about three dates I have coming up in various locations about the place.
First, if you are in Scotland week after next, from August 7-14, I'll be giving my lecture with funny bits, How Heavy?, about the history of weights and measures. I haven't written it yet, which is an issue, but not an insurmountable one. That's in Adam Smith's old front room in Panmure House and you can get tickets here. The subject is So interesting.
Second, my mate Sacha, who used to write travel books back in the day and has been everywhere pretty much, except the two poles, said that he thought, of all the places he's been, New Orleans comes top. Admittedly, he made this declaration in 1995, so things might have changed, but I'm delighted to say that I'll be heading there in October to speak at the New Orleans Investment Conference, so if you happen to be in that neck of the woods, come on down. You can get tickets here.
Finally, on November 23rd the Gilets Jaunes and I will be back in the West End at Crazy Coqs in Brasserie Zedel. November might seem a long way off, but this will almost certainly sell out, so I am alerting you now. If you haven't been, this is a fantastic venue. The shows, meanwhile, are going from strength to strength. The last one, with the Free Speech Union, got a standing ovation. You can get tickets here.
I'll be sending out some more news on Kisses very soon.
in the meantime, have a lovely weekend.
All the best
Dominic
