"Damned Lies" goes out this Thursday February 10th at 11pm on BBC Radio 4.
Morning All,
Those of you that came to the recording of the BBC Radio 4 pilot, Damned Lies, last summer at the Shaw theatre will know just what a special night it was. I am happy to say the edit has come out really well, capturing the magic of the night, and, after various delays beyond our control, it is now going to be broadcast on BBC Radio 4 this Thursday evening at 11pm .
I'm hosting. The panellists are Gary Delaney, Paul Foot, Janey Godley and Lucy Porter. There is also ISI highly-cited statistician Professor David Spiegelhalter, who is at least 52.4% cleverer than anyone else, and has a huge following among the statistical community.
One wise old owl with years in the game, who has heard the pilot, described it as "the best thing he has ever heard at this stage in its evolution." I do think you'll like it.
If you miss the pilot, it will be avaliable on iPlayer - so you have no excuse. I'll send out a reminder after the show.
I'll actually be presenting Headliners at time of broadcast, so I will be in the rare position of being two channels at once. I must've made it.
Have a nice week.
Best
Dominic
PS I've got a handful of CDs left, if anybody wants one, they are here.
